CLAAS, the agricultural machinery company, will be reorganising and strengthening its sales and service network in Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina as of 1 October 2011. The reason for the restructuring is the end of the company's agreement with the current importer, Eibl & Wondrak.
Discussions on continuing the relationship did not reach a satisfactory conclusion due to differences in expectations. "We regret this and respect the achievements of the Eibl family" explains CLAAS Regional Director Jens Skifter. "As in the past, we will continue to make every effort to further improve our products and services and enhance communication with our customers - for the benefit of both old and new CLAAS customers. At CLAAS, our focus is always on the customers. We always aim to further cultivate and improve the good business relationships we enjoy with our customers. This is true both for machine purchases and for service, spare parts supply and warranty-related issues", continues Skifter.
For this reason, CLAAS will set up and develop an exclusive dealer network – with the aim of achieving maximum customer satisfaction – for its future sales and distribution activities. In the process, CLAAS will ensure that all customer queries related to sales and service will be answered. CLAAS will provide further information about new and former contact persons along with the relevant dates in good time.
